Gender focal point workshop in Siem Reap, Cambodia

Hello IFAD Vietnam family,

We are Hong and Lan Anh from Quang Binh Decentralised Programme for Rural Poverty Reduction.

Wishing everybody a new happy and successful year.

We are participating in the gender focal point workshop in Siemreap, Cambodia (taken plance from Feb 22 to Feb 25, 2010). The workshop is very interesting and useful for rural development projects/programmes. We have opportunities to meet and share experience with many gender consultants in the Asia and Pacific region.

Also, we have discussed the IFAD gender framework which is very suitable with the improvement of women's role in Vietnam.

Besides, we have participated in the knowledge market (with many local products and a VCD on project activities) and been highly evaluated.

The workshop will be continued until Feb. 25th, 2010.
